We recognize that unforeseen circumstances may require you to cancel your 1-Day Tour. The following cancellation rules apply:
If you fail to show up on the day of the tour without prior notification, no refund will be provided. The full tour price will be charged.
If you arrive late and miss part of the tour, the full tour price will still be charged. It is your responsibility to arrive at the specified meeting point on time.
You may request to reschedule your 1-Day Tour without incurring a penalty if the request is made at least 14 days in advance. Rescheduling requests made within 14 days of the tour may incur additional fees and are subject to availability.
Our Travel Packages typically include multiple services such as accommodation, transportation, guided tours, and more. The following cancellation rules apply to these packages:
Failure to arrive on the start date of your travel package will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be provided. The full package price will be charged.
If you cancel or decide not to participate in part of the package (e.g., specific tours, excursions, or activities) while the package is ongoing, no refunds will be issued for unused portions.
You may request to reschedule your Travel Package if the request is made at least 60 days before the start date. Rescheduling within 60 days of the start date may incur fees and is subject to availability and pricing changes.
In rare circumstances, Egypt Tours by Locals may need to cancel or alter a tour or travel package due to unforeseen events such as weather conditions, safety concerns, or low participation. In such cases:
We are not responsible for any additional expenses incurred, such as visa fees, airline tickets, or other costs, due to the cancellation.
Egypt Tours by Locals will not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or modifications to your tour or travel package due to force majeure events. These events include but are not limited to natural disasters, strikes, war, civil unrest, pandemics, or government restrictions. In the event of force majeure, no refunds will be issued, but we will work with you to reschedule or provide alternative options.
If you are eligible for a refund, we will process it using the original payment method within 14 business days of the cancellation request. Please note that any refund-related fees (e.g., bank or credit card fees) will be deducted from the refund amount.
We highly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations, interruptions, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances. Egypt Tours by Locals is not responsible for any losses or additional costs incurred due to trip cancellations or changes.
