Do I need a visa for Egypt from the UAE?
It depends on your passport. UAE and most GCC nationals are handled quickly on arrival; other residents typically use the $25 e-Visa online before travel. Keep your passport valid for at least six months — we confirm the exact steps for your nationality after booking.
How long is the flight from Dubai to Egypt?
Only about 3.5–4 hours non-stop from Dubai (DXB) or Abu Dhabi to Cairo, with EgyptAir, Emirates, Etihad and flydubai all flying the route daily — which is why it works so well as a short break.
When is the best time to travel from the UAE?
October to April is the most comfortable season in Egypt. Eid holidays, UAE National Day and the school breaks are the busiest windows for travellers from the Emirates, so book ahead for those dates.
