• Guide: $10–15 per day per traveler

The Western Desert is best explored during cooler months, when temperatures are ideal for desert drives, outdoor exploration, and overnight camping.

When to Go:

• October – April: The most comfortable period for visiting Bahariya Oasis, the White Desert, and Siwa Oasis. Days are pleasant, nights are cool, and desert conditions are ideal.
• May & September: Warmer but still manageable with early starts, shaded breaks, and proper hydration.
• June – August: Not recommended due to extreme heat and limited comfort during desert travel.

💡 Tip: Traveling in late October or early April often offers excellent weather with fewer visitors and a more peaceful desert atmosphere.
